MAKE Southwest Craft Guild

Sea Campion, Maiden’s Tears, Linocut Print

This March I achieved a long-held aim in my art career: being accepted as a full member of the MAKE Southwest craft guild. I had previously been accepted as an associate member, but on my third attempt I was delighted to be welcomed as a full guild member. The guild hosts regular exhibitions as well as a permanent shop showcasing the work of its members, and it has been championing contemporary craft, art and design since 1955. Its beautiful building is located in the small, characterful town of Bovey Tracey on the edge of Dartmoor. So next time you’re planning a visit to the guild, do pop into the shop to see some of my work among the wonderful printmakers currently on show there.
