This August, I went on holiday to the North Devon coast. Our camping field was edged with wildflower banks, with cows grazing just beyond.
Swallows swooped low over the grass, sifting through the whirring insects. I made a few playful sketches of their flight, working mainly with pastel highlighter pens and a black brush pen. The lilac tones suggested the sweeping shapes of the swallows, while the brush pen added movement and contrast.

One day, I walked high along the coast path to Mortehoe. The sea was calm, the sun was bright, and to my delight I came across a small colony of seals.
Perched near the cliff edge, I sketched them—my first ever drawings of wild seals—as waves and ripples flowed gently over their sleek bodies.

This month I am taking part in one of the UKs most well known printmaking events, The Winchester Print Fair 2025.

This month I am opening my studio to visitors as a part of Devon Open Studios 2021, I would love to see you.

I was so pleased to be featured in the Autumn 2021 issue of Exmoor Magazine. In shops now with a four page spread about my work as an artist on Exmoor.

I am delighted to have be invited to run art workshops for A Nest of Gentle Makers on a residential retreat at Buconnoc House in Cornwall coming up in October.

Spending time down the lane, I have been sitting close to an area of ancient woodland & in the dappled shade of the wood I charted the first of our wildflowers.

What an amazing experience it was to work with the Devon and Cornwall film team and produce this painting ‘Wintry Exmoor’ specially for the feature.
